The Northey Street House B&B Woodbury Room

The historic Federal style house has a higher 9' ceiling height on the first floor, a standard 8' ceiling height on the 2nd floor, and a low 7'4" height on the 3rd floor. The Woodbury Room, on the 1st floor of the inn, was probably used as a parlor in the 18th century as the high ceiling makes for a grand introduction to the house. It is a spacious 15' x 16' room, comparable to the Captain's Quarters. Accommodations feature the original 18th century architectural fireplace mantle, a queen bed, two antique night stands, an antique sitting bench, a twin size convertible couch/bed, a round table with two Shaker ladderback chairs, a wing chair & foot stool. The fireplace with marble slab, though non-working, is filled with antique hurricane lanterns and is well stocked with candles for a soothing ambience.

The room has a spacious private full bath with a shower stall. The shower has a pull-out handheld massage shower head. We use only hotel quality premium down and 100% cotton bedding. The rooms are equipped with hair dryers, extra towels and toiletries.
